Domiciliary Care Workers x 4
Leicestershire and Gloucestershire

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Responsibilities

– Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration

– Providing companionship and emotional support to clients

– Performing light housekeeping tasks

– Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings

– Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ health or behaviour

Qualifications

– Experience in assisted living, senior care, or patient care is advantageous

– Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary

– Knowledge of dementia care and experience in nursing homes is beneficial

– Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others

– Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Care Coordinators x 4

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day care of clients, promoting a caring environment, ensuring high standards of care, and implementing the Fundamental Care Standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  •  Manage day-to-day running of assigned clients 

  •  Ensure clients receive care tailored to their individual needs 

  • Liaise with clients 

  • Investigate complaints and take appropriate action 

  • Work with CQC inspectors during inspections 

  • Ensure all client documentation, including care plans and risk assessments, is up to date 

  • Oversee carer placements and contracts 

  • Conduct regular spot checks and update care planning system 

  • Handle accident and incident reports appropriately 

  • Communicate regularly with carers and clients 

  • Assist in the completion of audits and subsequent action plans to improve business processes 

  • The overall scheduling and management of client rotas 

  • Participate in the on-call rota. 

Requirements And Qualifications: 

  • Eligibility to work in the UK 

  • Confident driver with access to car for visits 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 

  • Ability to respond to emails and manage an efficient filing system 

  • Experience in liaising with professional bodies and inspectors 

  • Experience with Birdie would be desirable. 

  • Extensive experience in domiciliary care. 
     

Person Specification — Essential Criteria  

The following qualities are considered essential for the post of care-coordinator  

  • At least one year experience as a Care Coordinator in a community setting. 

  • A management qualification or care qualification and/or working towards equivalent minimum to NVQ level 3.
